Social Impact of AF-Campus

OUR GOAL

AF-Campus aims at achieving economic relevance, social impact, and acceptable business rentability

In Germany (and Austria / Switzerland) the company addresses the lack of skilled professions, especially in the health and care area. Between 2021 and 2032 AF-Campus will place about 16.600 health and care professionals and 4.400 trainees (Azubis) into new jobs. Assume every health and care professional serves per day 3 patients for 10 days each, AF-Campus personnel will then serve every year 1.5 million people in Germany (and Austria and Switzerland) with professional help in health and care giving (21.000 Personen x 230 working days a year x 3 patients).

Our offer

AF-Campus prepares and places about 5.000 Azubis in IT, crafts, and hospitality jobs

All those people will earn initially between €600 (Azubi) and €2.500 (health professionals) and will be able to share income with their families back home. Remittances to the Philippines are traditionally very high (10%-30% of the net income within the first 3-5 years). That is a sizeable contribution to reduce poverty in their families back home and a sizeable contribution to economic growth and the budget of the government.

A set of two impact analysis (including survey and primary data analysis) will be conducted
as part of the AF-Campus business and provide more information on the social impact.
These studies will also assess the implications for poverty reduction in the Philippines (and
other Asian countries) and social integration in German-speaking countries.
